45-yr old patient Omveer Singh, was rushed to Kailash Hospital, Greater Noida after having severe chest pain since two days . Reaching the emergency at hospital, the patient was addressed by Dr. Akhlaque, Resident Doctor (CCU). Looking at the patient’s condition, an immediate ECG was carried out and it was found that the patient has an Inferior-wall MI. In view of the situation, the patient was recommended admission, but initially he refused saying it as a gastric pain. This ignorance resulted in a cardiac arrest of the patient. In view of the deteriorating situation, doctors immediately responded and started his treatment. The patient was admitted to CCU under the supervision of Cardiologist Dr. Sujeet Narain. As Anaesthesiologist, (Cardiology department) Dr. Shashi Bala explains that the input-output of the patient was maintained and BP which reduced significantly was adjusted. The patient was provided mechanical ventilator support where an angioplasty was carried out by Dr. Sujeet Narayan.
The continuous medical support from doctors consequently led to saving the patient’s life. Now, when Mr. Omveer has recovered, he expresses complete satisfaction with doctors’ lifesaving efforts.
