Management of Ventricular Septal Rupture through CABG & VSR repair surgery | Kailash Hospital Noida

Patient Navinder Jha, after experiencing severe chest pain was referred to Kailash Hospital, Noida Sector-27 from an ESI Hospital. When brought to the hospital, the patient was in a critical condition having multiple blockages in the Coronary arteries. According to the cardiac experts, multiple blockages in arteries are most fatal and these conditions require immediate surgical intervention. On investigation at Kailash Hospital, the patient was found with Ventricular Septal Rupture, a post-myocardial infarction (hole in the wall between the two ventricles after heart attack) which is a rare & deathly complication. Looking at the patient’s critical condition, he was immediately admitted under Dr. Satish Mathew, Senior CTVS Surgeon at Kailash Hospital for CABG & repair of the hole in the ventricular septum. Subsequently, an immediate CABG & VSR Repair surgery was carried out by Dr. Mathew. Thereafter, the patient was continuously monitored and kept under medical supervision by the doctors for three days in the CCU. Post rehabilitation looking at the good signs of recovery the patient was shifted to the departmental ward. Now when the patient is getting back his life on track slowly, he extends his thanks to Dr. Satish Mathew and the entire team of Kailash Hospital for saving his life.
