World Sight Day is celebrated every year in October on the second Thursday. This year it is being done on October 14. The main motive of celebrating this event globally is to draw attention to the various diseases affecting the eye, many of which, if timely detected and treated, can prevent patients from ill effects of low vision and blindness. In this video, our consultant ophthalmologist of Kailash Hospital Dehradun, Dr. Himanshu Arora will be highlighting a few of the eye diseases according to various age groups and steps that need to be taken towards keeping our eyes healthy.
